ABOUT ME

Having been born and raised in the mid Hudson Valley region, I've developed an appreciation for natural beauty. Whether it be local landscapes, or the people that make up many of the diverse communities here.

With a background in Engineering and Design, photography and the attention to detail that comes with it seem like a natural fit. The technical aspects and challenges in shaping light keep me fully engaged during sessions, and even into the editing process.

From family mini sessions, to boudoir sessions, I enjoy the excitement of meeting new people, hearing their stories, and capturing their story.

I'm really not grumpy, promise

I am no model of any sort so I didn’t know what to expect when I started working with Steve. Even though I was awkward at first being in front of the camera, Steve was extremely professional and respectful. He never once made me feel uncomfortable, even when I had to change in the middle of the woods. He clearly communicated where, when, and how we would get to the location. He even went the extra mile and described exactly where we would be going which helped ease my nerves. Even during the photo shoot, he would describe how I should hold my hands and relax my body and just do what felt right. He encouraged me to have fun with it and try out new things. Steve's process is equally professional and lively. After the shoot he would reach out to me to make sure I had a good time and to let me know when the photos would be ready. He usually gave me a couple to preview to make sure I liked how the editing turned out and to also keep me patient. However, he always got the photos edited and out to me within a day or two. I have only known Steve for 2 years, but I know that he provides a safe environment for me to be uncomfortable and try new things.
